The call sign “AT3POG” will be used for the ARSI QRP Field Day event taking place on June 24th and June 25th, 2023. The event will be held in Sakleshpur, Karnataka, India, which is approximately 270 kilometers away from Bangalore. This picturesque location is a hill station situated in the Western Ghats mountain range within Karnataka state. It is renowned for its scenic beauty, featuring lush slopes covered in dense forests, tea, coffee, and spice plantations. Notably, the 18th-century Manjarabad Fort offers breathtaking mountain vistas, and the surrounding area includes the biodiverse Bisle Reserve Forest, a habitat for various wildlife such as cobras, deer, and birds.
For the ARSI QRP Field Day, the special call sign “AT3POG” will be operated by four licensed individuals:
