“An 18-hour-long marathon outdoor field operations, focusing on understanding skywave propagation at night, is organized by OSCAR (West Bengal). The team plans to operate on all possible HF amateur radio bands with SSB, CW, and digital modes like FT8 and WSPR etc.
Sky wave propagation mostly works better in the night, and shows up some really amazing characteristics on all HF ham bands. The team intends to make maximum contacts across all modes and bands
This is a NIGHT event.
The event starts from 3 PM for 25th November to 9 AM of 26th November
The team is led by seasoned Amateur Radio Operator – Abhrajit, VU3YDA
A special call sign – AT2O is assigned by Department of Telecommunications (WPC Wing) is assigned for this field day event.
